Welcome to Chipzo (ShopChipzo) (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.shopchipzo.com (“Site”) and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Us
Chipzo is a student-run initiative based in Bangalore, dedicated to providing rapid delivery of electronic components for educational and prototyping purposes.

2. Products and Availability
2.1 Product Descriptions
We aim to describe our products (Arduino-compatible boards, sensors, modules, ICs, etc.) as accurately as possible.
Many items are generic or compatible versions. Minor variations in PCB layout, color, branding, or component arrangement may occur depending on the batch. These variations do not affect core functionality.
2.2 Availability
All orders are subject to stock availability. If an item becomes unavailable after order placement, we will notify you and offer either:
A replacement, or
A full refund.
3. Pricing and Payments
3.1 Pricing
All prices listed on the Site are in Indian Rupees (INR).
3.2 Prepaid Only Platform
We operate strictly as a prepaid platform. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available under any circumstances.
3.3 Payment Methods
We accept secure online payments via:
UPI
Credit/Debit Cards
Net Banking
Orders are confirmed only after successful payment.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Operating Hours
4.1 Delivery Area
We currently serve selected areas in Bangalore.
4.2 Delivery Timing
We strive to provide hyperlocal delivery within 60–90 minutes.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to:
Traffic
Weather
Rider availability
Operational constraints
We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
4.3 Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are based on total order value:
₹150 for orders below ₹500
₹100 for orders between ₹500 and ₹999
₹50 for orders between ₹1000 and ₹1999
Free delivery for orders of ₹2000 and above
Delivery charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.
In case of partial refunds due to approved returns, delivery charges will not be refunded.
We reserve the right to revise delivery charges at any time without prior notice.
4.4 Operating Hours
Chipzo operates only during:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Orders are processed and dispatched only during operating hours.
Orders placed:
Outside business hours, or
On Sundays
will be processed on the next working day at 9:00 AM.
The 60–90 minute delivery timeline applies only to orders placed within operating hours.
4.5 Right to Suspend Operations
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend order processing or deliveries due to:
Operational constraints
Inventory shortages
Public holidays
Technical issues
Force majeure events
Unforeseen circumstances
5. Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy (Strict Policy)
By placing an order, you agree to this strict policy.
5.1 No Cancellation Policy
All sales are final.
Once payment is processed:
Orders cannot be canceled
Orders cannot be modified
Our automated dispatch system activates immediately to meet the rapid delivery timeline. Therefore, cancellation requests are not entertained.
5.2 No Returns for Change of Mind
We do not accept returns if:
You ordered the wrong item
You changed your mind
You no longer require the component
Customers are responsible for verifying product specifications before ordering.
5.3 Dead on Arrival (DOA) – 2 Hour Testing Rule
You must test your components immediately upon delivery.
If a component is non-functional, you must report it within 2 HOURS of the delivery timestamp.

Claims made after 2 hours will not be accepted.
5.4 Mandatory Video Proof
To initiate a return claim, you must provide:
Unboxing video showing sealed package opening
Testing video showing proper wiring and testing
Claims without clear video proof will be automatically rejected.
5.5 Burnt or User-Damaged Components
We do not replace or refund components damaged due to:
Improper wiring
Reverse polarity
Over-voltage
Short circuits
Physical damage
Soldering or modification
If our technical verification determines user error, no refund will be issued. The item may be returned to you at your cost.
5.6 Return & Verification Process
Refunds are not processed based on video proof alone.
The product must be physically returned for inspection.
Process:
Step 1 – Report within 2 hours with required video proof
Step 2 – Return the item to our delivery partner or designated location
Step 3 – Technical inspection for burn marks, misuse, soldering, or physical damage
Step 4 – Refund issued only if product passes verification
5.7 Refund Timeline
If approved after verification, refunds will be processed to the original payment source within 5–7 business days.
6. Limitation of Liability
Chipzo is a retailer of electronic components.
We are not responsible for:
Damage to laptops, batteries, power supplies
Project failure
Data loss
Financial loss
Equipment damage
Personal injury
resulting from the use or misuse of products purchased from us.
All products are intended strictly for educational and prototyping use.
7. User Responsibility & Technical Disclaimer
Electronic components require technical knowledge.
By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that:
You understand basic electronics safety
You assume full responsibility for proper wiring and usage
You accept all risks associated with electronic experimentation
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
